Deidara naturally developed attention seeking behaviour because of his mother. Be it she was fucking some guy or cooking dinner, he would always speak louder than normal to make sure he got their attention. A typical childish trait continues in his 19 year old self. Albeit he quieter now, he is still demands attention and still sulks like 10 year old when it’s not given. To compensate for being a child, he acts grumpy a lot and responds with snarky comments and unnecessary ego. Only thing is, he gets even more childish when he’s obviously wrong and generally act like an ungrateful douchebag. The only likely thank you’s you’ll hear from him will be full of sarcasm and even then it’s rare.

Obviously, he has developed a “mommy” issues. He’ll cuddle and snuggle up to any female available, preferably ones with tits and are a bit more mature looking - one that can "handle herself". He’s in complete denial about it though. Please refrain from asking him about it, unless you’re looking to upset him then by all means.

Deidara is quick to explode in rage and slow to cool down to the calm, even pleasant, person he normally is. With some time and true generosity, it is easy to gain Deidara’s friendship. His trust, however, is another story. He has never truly trusted anyone in his life; the only exception is the woman who photographed him, one that he still keeps in contact with through sparse emails. She fills in for times when mommy issues are too much to bear.
