nudityonlegs ([info]nudityonlegs) wrote in [info]feelgoodmods,
She started joining clubs, first one interested in different cultures, then mock trial, and then finally cheerleading. Her sassy nature, coupled with her blossoming beauty made her popular, both liked and envied. Though she had never really been a big book nerd, she became the type more interested in sneaking out to drink and party than to bother with school. A typically high scoring student, her grades started to slip as she started to get more popular in her new crowd of friends, and any time her parents confronted her about it, she’d act like their little angel before slipping out the house as soon as they were asleep. It was during this time Ino first starting worrying about her figure, or more importantly, how her figure was viewed. To call her boy crazy would be highly accurate, and in order to be more appealing, she wore skimpier clothes, more make up, and started strict diets.

However, during junior year, she got a nasty wake up call when a school counselor took her aside and told her that if she didn’t shape up, she wouldn’t be able to go to college. Her parents were both college graduates, and had already been saving up for a nice graduation present for her, and if she wasn’t accepted, she wasn’t sure what she would do with her life, or how she would live with their disappointment. Despite the perceived injustice of being forced to leave her friends, Ino loved her parents and felt a bit guilty about her actions. They had only wanted what was best for her, and she had almost squandered the chance to get a better education and life than they could provide her. Once she found her footing again, she saw less need to be a rebellious teenager and started to amend their strained relationship. She got her act together for senior year, and managed to get accepted in a few colleges, one of them based in Reno.

One of her best friends was also heading up there, and suggested that the two of them apply there since it was known as a really good party school. Excited to move out on her own and to have her independence, Ino was set to go when a bit of a financial crisis struck. The business back in her hometown wasn’t holding up so well, the people they had hired to take it over while they expanded it mismanaging the funds so that they ended up losing a lot of money before they were able to close the place down. In short, the savings they had for Ino’s college were drained as well as a few other luxuries, though Ino insisted she could make it on her own and for her parents not to worry.

But with little need for florists in Reno, she was soon scrambling to find a job that could support her steep rent, living expenses, as well as her tendency to splurge. The same friend who talked her into moving up to Reno suggested that she apply at Feel Good Inc., not exactly as an actress but a secretary or something, but Ino found the work to be a little drab and dull. One of the talent scouts took notice of her and suggested she try her hand at being an actress, and while the work wasn’t exactly what she wanted her parents to find out about, she liked it a lot more than filing paperwork and answering phones. Plus the guys were so cute. Currently she’s working full time and taking a few classes at her college for a degree in business (or maybe nursing, who knows, because she’s switched her major too many times to be sure anymore), though mostly she still goes for her friends and the parties.
