Personality: The first thing most people normally notice about Ino (or have it shoved down their throats) is that she is loud. Often. Tact? Ino uses it sometimes, and usually with people she doesn’t know well, but her friends aren’t afforded that luxury. She tends to make offhand remarks that aren’t meant to be offensive, but are, simply because she does not think before she talks. It doesn’t help that she’s highly opinionated and doesn’t care who knows what she thinks of anything or anyone. The last thing people have to worry about is Ino talking smack behind their backs, because she’d much rather say things to people’s faces, and would prefer the same courtesy. She is rather bossy (or bitchy, as other people might say), and if someone doesn’t do what she says, heaven help them, because while she might not be the strongest woman in the world, she certainly has the lung capacity to shriek, nag, and generally bitch until the opposition caves just to get her to shut up. If that fails, there’s also the option of trying to seduce them to her side, and Ino prides herself in being very pretty. She isn’t the greatest leader one could follow, and generally she doesn’t notice that she’s stomping headfirst into mistake land until someone stops her.

She is horribly, horribly shallow, she will freely admit, which is why most of her relationships don’t last long. She has yet to understand that while people make look yummy on the outside does not mean they will be so on the inside just because they look like they could be on the cover of a trashy romance novel. This does not only include her relationships, but her own looks as well. Ino takes great care to look like she just stepped off the runway, and is constantly dieting to keep her figure slender and ‘attractive’. The amount of money she spends on hair products, make up, and new clothes is about the same as some people pay for monthly rent. Though her critical eye doesn’t just end with people’s looks. If she thinks you’re not on the right path, she’ll tell you so, or if you need to change something, she’s not holding any punches. This applies most vigorously to her date screening process.

And despite her outwardly brash kind of disposition, Ino does tend to get hurt emotionally rather easily if you know what buttons to press, namely saying something negative about her looks, something stereotypical (insert another slutty dumb blonde joke here), or insult her intelligence, she tends to remember and holds grudges. It doesn’t help that Ino is also highly emotional, and can go from angry to happy in the blink of an eye. She’s usually not violent about it, but she is loud.

However, if her first impression does not put one off, Ino is a rather friendly, sociable, likable person. Really. Honest. She is very good with people, and tends to try to find something good in everyone, even if their outward exterior puts her off for a while. She is usually polite, respectful of her elders, and kind to people she works with. She also tends to be a rather uncannily good judge of character and motives, especially when it concerns other people’s romantic lives. And while she might not be the most intelligent blonde one will ever meet, she isn’t stupid. She placed in the near the top of her class when she tried, and she does have a lot of common sense and emotional intelligence. Not to mention when it comes to verbal fisticuffs, she can hold her own rather well. One might even call her somewhat witty. She might not be a genius, but she knows not to do things like, oh, not have sex without a condom, look both ways before crossing the street, and not talking on one’s cellphone while driving.
