Re: Sai App Part III
His parents explained to him the circumstances that surrounded his joining of the family. Unlike most children, who became curious and disheartened and asked why, why, why, Sai brushed the truth off of his shoulders, and continued living as he did everyday. Not to say that those questions didn’t lurk in the back of his conscious, but they appeared to be irrelevant to him. He wasn’t wanted by his real parents, but Mary and John-Bob did, and that’s all that mattered.
It wasn’t until high school that Sai became enamored with art. And art as in something greater than the mandatory finger-painting of his younger years. The teacher had no clue what she was talking about, nor was she very talented herself, but Sai had taken to exploring the material available to him, and soon discovered that yes, he had a knack for making “purty drawlings” as Julie once told him. He never thought of his mostly ink-centric creations as nothing more than a side hobby to induldge in after spending long days working on the farm with ma and pa, but that notion changed when he was encouraged by his arithmetic teacher to “Get the hell out of this red-neck, backwards shithole an’ use your talent to git sum money.”

Sai didn’t understand it; he was content with living on the farm, here in Texas. He had never been or known any other place. Regardless, he was pressed on to apply to colleges (by his family as well as sparse friends) and settled on attending the University of Nevada, Reno. To be honest, Sai grew more and more curious about the rest of the United States. He wanted to see for himself if it was truly like the way he heard some other people talk about it. Maybe he’d even find creative inspiration in a novel environment. Plus, Nevada wasn’t too far from Texas. How dissimilar could the city really be?

Sai quickly exposed to his answer as soon as he step foot on campus. Cell phones? Microwaves? A television, condoms, oh what? Needless to say, he was bewildered, overwhelmed, and hopelessly even more lost than before—a complete culture shock, to be accurate, that added onto his general social ineptness. It didn’t help that he was an Asian-looking person with a heavy southern drawl. (As a matter of fact, he became so self-conscious about it that he using the internet to learn how to pronounce words “normally.”) In addition to attending school, Sai had to take out loans in order to pay for his education, loans that he knew that ma and pa did not, nor would ever have the means of paying back. The answer to that quandary first came in the form of stripping. He was informed that stripping drove in tons and tons of money, but as Sai found out, it was sex that brought in the big bucks. His fellow male (and female) strippers got nearly up to five hundred with each fuck, in comparison to the minimal crumpled twenties he got slipped into his thong from shaking his ass. And so, Sai began prostituting himself. In his letters to the family back in Texas, he never once mentioned his side occupation. He wasn’t exactly sure himself why; he had always been taught that honesty was the best policy after all. Perhaps because there was something inherently…degrading about selling your body. About being thrusted into (or having to thrust back), or having to open your mouth just a bit wider in order to accommodate someone’s cock. Perhaps not. Perhaps Sai just didn’t feel like sharing that part of his life with ma and pa. It didn’t matter; he didn’t think much of it and had taken to being emotionally distant to cope.
