Stubborn to a fault, once Hinata sets her mind on doing something, she’ll follow it through until she sees its end, regardless of the obstacles. And on the rare occasions she does get into a serious disagreement, she will hold her ground, especially over things she considers important and others consider trivial. When she decides to be mule headed, no one can talk her into seeing things differently.

Lastly, Hinata is horribly dense. Chalk it up to leading a rather sheltered life, but when it comes to innuendo or flirtation, Hinata is for the most part, clueless. She also likes to believe she isn’t as obvious as she is, and while she might believe that she isn’t blushing too bad around someone she likes, it’s not too hard for anyone to guess how she might feel about that person.

However, for the people willing to put in the time to get to know her better, Hinata is a kind, polite, and caring person. She treats everyone she meets with respect, and has the annoying habit of calling everyone ‘Mr.’ or ‘Ms.’ until she’s been corrected multiple times. She’d rather be known as polite than as that rude quiet girl. She also goes out of her way to be kind to people she hasn’t met before, and while perhaps she’s not the most out going person, Hinata is not the type to backstab or talk bad about anyone. She finds such behavior deplorable, and she likes to avoid unnecessary confrontation. And being polite and bowing and smiling and apologizing seems like the quickest way to squirm out of it if it does come her way.

Hinata is a very disciplined person, mostly due to the strictness she’s dealt with most of her life. She has a set schedule she adheres to every day, and there’s little room for deviations. She can stop herself from buying silly little trinkets she know she won’t use, and is slowly learning how to make do with juggling school, work, and having enough time to do all the activities she’s grown up with, namely ballet and karate. As hectic as it sounds, she’s slowly becoming accustomed to it, and sticking to it stubbornly.

And going hand in hand with her disciplined nature, Hinata is also extremely organized. She’s the type of person who cannot work in clutter and needs to keep everything neat and clean. This means her work station is usually immaculate, her school binders are labeled neatly, and her apartment is spotless. To keep up with her demanding schedule, she doesn’t have time to look through mess or try to thumb through notes before a test so she can review. In fact, she tends to lay out clothes the day before she wears them so she doesn’t have to rush in the morning to pick out something nice. The only way she could be anymore organized was if she wore day of the week underwear.

The type of person to look out for others, Hinata is also pretty thoughtful. If someone is having a hard time, she likes to bake for them, or write them an encouraging note. She is great at remembering birthdays, makes it a point to remember at least a few facts about each of the people she interacts with on a daily basis, and always inquires about how people are doing.

A trait that Hinata tends to pride herself on is how patient she is, whether it is to waiting for her father’s approval or getting through a rough patch in her life. She likes to repeat the mantra that this too, will pass, so long as she can patiently wait through it.

Lastly, Hinata is a very loyal person. Once you’ve become one of her important people, she’ll never abandon you and do her best to never harm you. She’ll stand up for you and protect you to the death. She is also a tad more spontaneous amongst people she trusts, and one can never really be sure what she will do.
