Izuna Application Pt. 2
Background History: While his brother was being raised to take over the family's name and enterprise, Izuna found himself raised mostly by his mother (when she wasn't doting on his brother along with their father), home tutors, and that magical box known as the television. The only child remotely his age to play with was his brother, and until they moved to America, for all Izuna cared, Madara was the only friend he'd ever need.

Moving halfway across the planet is hard for a ten year-old. With Madara being shipped off to some prestigious private school, he'd even lost his only friend in this new world of signs and voices and even television shows that he just couldn't wrap his head around. Being behind in English compared to his brother, Izuna had to remain in home tutoring until he could speak well enough to understand what he'd be taught in school. Even then, he was sent to a smaller - though still private and prestigious - school within the city, and never made any friends. He would look forward to the exchanges of letters between himself and his brother on nearly a weekly basis. Madara's failure to be rescued from the school and his over pompous peers was also not from a lack of effort on Izuna's part. After being reported missing twice and being found again both times, he only stopped running away to find his brother when his father threatened to cut off all contact with Madara during the school year - no more letters.

It only took one threat to force Izuna's obedience. Madara's letters were the only thing he looked forward to for the rest of middle school.

He never did tell either of their parents about the last letter he'd received. To be safe, he'd even torn it up into several pieces and proceeded to flush the message down several toilets in their house. He'd thought, for the longest time, that Madara was playing a rather cruel prank on him. When he didn't hear from his brother for the rest of the year, though, his imagination would start to produce strange, often horrifying scenarios of what his brother would look like when he saw him again, and all the stories he'd have to tell.

And then the time came that Madara would be coming home. Graduation. Izuna was expecting something hideous to come walking through their front door. Something with his brother's face caked in makeup, red heels and maybe a miniskirt - American television, obviously, played an integral part in his childhood education. When Madara came home looking nothing but normal and was immediately put to work by their father in the company, Izuna didn't know what to think. He would stare at his brother awkwardly, waiting for an explanation that never came, before he turned to his studies instead. They never brought up the topic in actual conversation, but Izuna started to get the distinct feeling that he wasn't being lied to. When Madara started to keep strange hours and sneak out in the middle of the night (which Izuna only noticed because he'd be up all night studying to keep his grades within the top 10% of his class) he could only assume the worst.

The letter was right. His brother was a whore.
