Suigetsu : D : D
Unfortunately, Suigetsu didn’t make it to any of the colleges that he wanted (which was one, and he only applied because that’s where his brother was going), so as soon as graduated high school, he headed off to enlist. He joined the Navy of course, though decided to try to one up most of his relatives by becoming a Marine. Since he’d been pampered and groomed to be fit most of his life, he managed to struggle through the training and made mom and pops proud that he was following in their footsteps. However, the novelty of it all wore off pretty soon, and Suigetsu especially hated that he was always told what to do, no ifs, ands, or buts. It was little consolation that his brother was in the same unit as him, though it did keep him from going crazy and doing something that would get him dishonorably discharged. It didn’t stop him from wishing he could get out, however. Vehemently. And saying this to mostly anyone who asked. Like the old saying goes, he should have been careful for what he wished for.
During a combined forces training exercise, there was a miscommunication about where certain bombs were to be dropped. As a result, they were dropped near Suigetsu and several other units. He got trapped underneath some rubble for what felt like hours, the last thing he remembered was a glass case slamming on top of him when it gave out under the weight. He woke up in the hospital with a fucked up face, more broken bones than whole ones, and a serious fear of anything flying overhead. He was honorably discharged after the incident, though his face never really looked the same again, and if he bothers to grin, something seems off about his smile. Most people say it’s sinister.
With little other direction in his life, a nice check from the government to support him, and no place he really wanted to go, he tried to settle down in multiple places. California (too expensive), Singapore (too strict), and even back with his parents in New Mexico, but nothing seemed to keep his interest for long. He probably would never have thought Reno, Nevada until one day he was speaking with one of his buddies who had been to the best brothel he’d ever been to, called Angel’s Hell. Suigetsu being curious and not the type to turn down hooking up with women as hot as his friend boasted they were, went with him the next time he happened to go. While he never normally paid for sex, the girls there were totally worth it. And after seeing the ‘Now Hiring’ sign, he had to apply. Being paid to fight? Being surrounded by hot girls who liked to walk around in skimpy clothing? Finding somewhere to put his feet up? Why the hell not. Plus there were a few lakes near enough to keep him happy, his family often came up to visit him, and he liked the horrified looks on people’s faces when he told them he worked at a brothel.
