She's got a strong constitution and could handle it even if she didn't like it that much anyway. In her personal life, she's more of an opportunist than anything. She leans towards men, mostly, but wouldn't hesitate to bring home a woman if she seemed interesting and able to provide a good romp.

Background History: Temari's life started off as any other little girl's life might have started out. As an infant and toddler, things were relatively normal for her, up until the day that her mother died, a result of the birth of her second brother. She was five at the time, and had no clue what was happening. Her father paid little attention to the needs of a child that had just lost her mother, and so Temari was left to fend for herself and sort through the strange feelings inside her on her own. From a very young age, she understood that life was awful, and found ways to lash out.

Her father played very little part in her actual raising. He provided for them, but actual caretaking duties were conducted by nannies who really couldn't have cared any less for Temari, and Temari didn't care for their nannies either. It wasn't that her father was particularly abusive, but his apathy might have been just as bad. She grew up barely seeing any of her father, and never seeing her youngest brother, the one who she was convinced was responsible for her mother's death.

Due to the care that was given to her growing up, with a minimal of discipline-- just what was necessary to get her to take a bath, clean her room, etc.-- when she got into high school, she was out of control. Rebelling against the system, she pierced herself, beat up boys, and did all the sorts of things that are typical of a girl in her situation, without a mother, without proper guidance. Strangely, though, Temari never got poor grades, and she never acted out against her teachers specifically. She didn't disrupt class, and she attended after school activities with no problems. But her indiscretions were numerous enough that she got in trouble rather often. It was her grades and her relations with her teachers that kept them from kicking her out.
