Cho and I have been extremely busy with our arts and crafts project this weekend! But I think we're finally ready for a shopping trip to find some lovely flowers to fill our creations and decorate what might be our favorite place in the house: our porch.

She thinks we should go for something like marigolds and daffodils, but I'm rather fond of azaleas and morning glories myself.

Those standings look more and more beautiful every week.

I'm going to be a nervous wreck next week if I have to sit around with nothing to focus on next week. Or even sitting through extra practice on what should be game day.

If I could be so bold as to suggest it, would it be acceptable to split up our collective brain power and do some game scouting? The Wasps are playing the Falcons, and while I'm not terribly worried about Zabini, I'd like to get some more focus on Gudgeon and his methods. They're also fairly close to us in the standings, all things considered.

Keep Saturday open? I'm working on something, just cross your fingers that it works out.

Apparently playing on in a game with a broken arm is frowned upon by athletic healers. Got a nasty hit a little over halfway through the game by a bludger, but shrugged it off. Caught the bloody snitch, so it's been a good day. Just have an overnight stay in St. Mungo's to ensure that the bone sets properly.

How is your bedside manner? I'm trying to talk my healer into letting me leave early for good behavior, but I have a feeling she'll want me monitored overnight for pain and all that rot.

Is it bad that I'm optimistic about this week? The Bats are on a bloody bye week, and if we blow the Wasps out of the water...I can taste it, I truly can. Halfway on the season, I can hardly believe we're here!

Big game on Saturday. I keep jumping between excitement and severe bouts of nervousness. I know you can't divulge everything to me but...reassure me that the Wasps are nothing to worry about, based on your observations?

Congratulations to my brother Dominic and his wife Emily, who are expecting another little one in late January/early February! Found out when I picked up Linabug for our highly anticipated monthly ice cream date. This of course, was shortly followed by an impromptu trip to a park to celebrate a little more. And it was nice to have Tony and Cho Chang with us this month. Even though there's a slight age gap, I'm hoping they'll be able to go to Hogwarts with some friends already made.

Lina was very adamant about letting me know that she wants a baby sister this time around, however. Not that she doesn't love her brothers (she was also very adamant about letting me know that), but she "is tired of smelly boys" and wants "a sister that I can dress up and boss around."

Harpies, Falcons, and Bats...we can make it through the next three weeks. Just have to breathe and push through it (a personal reminder for myself more than anyone).

Received the notes you sent on how things are going, adjusting plans accordingly. My hopes are that I can find a few other well known Quidditch players to start, and do some weekend clinics at Hogwarts for older girls. I'd like to eventually branch off and look into something less sports structured, but it's the best vehicle for the moment that I've got.

Do I get a reward of more private instruction for doing such a brilliant job on the pitch today?

Nine days until Quidditch season starts up! I've been catching so many snitches I'm starting to dream about it.

Happy Spring, everyone. Things are absolutely brilliant over here. I think I'm going to spend one of my rare late afternoons off lounging in the sun like a lazy kitten.

Oh, oh, oh! I feel like I'm floating because it's the playoffs and we're coming from behind and we didn't even have those bullshit freebie points thrown at us and we are still kicking arse! Four more games. We can push this even farther in four games, yeah?

Linabug and Matthew were so bloody excited when I told them I had tickets for them to attend our next match. I'm trying to turn Matty into an Arrows fan yet...I think he just snubs his nose at the lack of male role models on the team (though you do very well, Thomas. I'm sure if he paid attention more he'd be fanatical over you), but Lina is absolutely thrilled.

Merlin's--my head hurts and Angelina is singing in the highest pitch possible and I can't--I really don't think I can sit here and listen to this. I think she's torturing me because I won't take her for a broom ride this instant; I can't very well do that when I've got Matthew and Turner to watch as well. I think we may need some alone time--she's got the Quidditch bug, I can tell.



Bloody hell, and now she's convinced Matthew to join in. Thank Merlin all Turner can do is gurgle and coo at this point. If it weren't for Thomas, I wouldn't have this bleeding headache right now

I thoroughly love watching my niece and nephews when Dom needs it, but there are times when I wish I had better methods of entertainment for them.

Are there supposed to be spots on cats? Because I am seeing some wicked spots right now. Green ones. Huge.

I'm really hoping that this isn't some sort of cat disease. MERLIN'S PANTS! I'm scared that my cat may die now :( Someone tell me that he won't!!!

Obviously I need to spend more time with her. I don't know why the hell I had my glasses on, but it certainly can't be a BAD thing. Getting ready to head out, SOMEONE needs to join me. Holly? Saoirse? Billie? You knoooooow you wanna! We've got eight days before shit gets real, we should probably work on getting this out of my system before then, am I right?
