ANDROMEDA BLACK ❖ monalisasmile (pbs: Cécile Cassel & Emily Blunt) Middle sister to Bellatrix and Narcissa, second daughter to Druella and Cygnus, Andromeda’s fate seemed to be decided when she was christened with such a significant name. Mother to the future bumbling auror, wife to a sloppy muggleborn Gryffindor, Andromeda excels in culture, charms, and the Dewy Decimal System. While not having a bit fat sign around her neck sporting the words BLOOD-TRAITOR, Andromeda spends her days attempting to accommodate the muggle culture and hovering around her accident-prone daughter, while trying to defeat some prejudices that still mirror her families.

BELLATRIX BLACK ❖ odietamo (pb: Bianca Balti) The first of the Black sisters, Bellatrix has clearly lived up to her namesake. She is an impulsive, passionate individual, one who would follow her beliefs to the very end – and does, in the most mortal sense. While some may call her psychotic, and some may call her a fanatic, there are few who can claim Bellatrix Black Lestrange to be anything but a valuable asset in the purists’ cause.

CYGNUS BLACK ❖ cygnus (pb: Robert Downey Jr) Cygnus Phineas Black, pureblood, Knight, ex-dueling champion, youngest son, father of the Black sisters. Walburga's failure to conceive and Alphard's bachelorhood landed him the responsibility of continuing the bloodline, and so he was wed to the French Druella Rosier. The passionless marriage left them with three children -- all daughters, never a son: Bellatrix, his favorite; Andromeda, the odd one out; and Narcissa, the baby. Attended Hogwarts while Tom Riddle was still a student and so had a fast-track entry to the all boy's club of the Knights of Walpurgis. Purist ideology was never a question with Cygnus, but unlike many, he is not blinded by Riddle's charisma -- his allegiance is to the Blacks first. There is only one sure way to shake Cygnus from his cool, and that is to threaten his family -- The Family, as it were, capital letters and all. Like the bird that is his namesake, any perceived danger to his kin will rouse an anger that is frightening and almost deranged; he had to be magically restrained from setting off after Ted Tonks once the degree of his involvement with Andromeda was revealed. One of the three Black 1979 deaths.

NARCISSA BLACK ❖ narcis (pbs: Elyse Taylor & Heidi Klum) The youngest daughter in the Black family, Narcissa has little to no expectations except to be a charming lady. The epitome of what all pureblood daughters strive to be, Narcissa excels in the areas of etiquette, beauty and charm. The only Black to produce a child, though under a different surname, Narcissa continues to sail on the sinking ship that is the Black family.

REGULUS BLACK ❖ cinereous (pb: Michael Gandolfi) The youngest Black. Regulus has been brought up as The Good Son and plays the part, if only because opposing his brother is the only possible way to get his attention. A quick study and sharp, his mother's Little Asp, Regulus is nevertheless younger and more vulnerable than he or those close to him are willing to let on.

SIRIUS BLACK ❖ impurity (pb: Louis Prades) Sirius is anything but a memorable member of the Black family; he is nothing what his mother expected in a child, and is a constant reminder of betrayal. This, however, does not phase him as Sirius continues along what he strongly believes is the appropriate path, a path that further separates him from all he knew.

ALECTO CARROW ❖ dee_tweedle (pb: Thora Birch) Resourceful, cunning, and thoughtful, this younger half of the Carrow siblings is not your typical blood purist, for she keeps her opinions and views on the topic well-kept and hidden beneath a stoic and sometimes even relatively pleasant exterior. Overlooked and underestimated by her parents, Alecto was left to form her own thoughts and devices from childhood to adulthood, and as a result, one can say that she moves to a different beat altogether.

GAULTIER LESTRANGE ❖ gaultier (pb: Al Pacino) PENDING.

RABASTAN LESTRANGE ❖ incensus (pbs: Léo Legrand & Atesh Salih) As the second of the Lestrange brothers, Rabastan was not handed over to the family: his father had no use for the spare, and so his mother claimed him as her own. He is a foil to Rodolphus in all ways, a disciple of instinct rather than cool logic, and passionate to the extent that temper often clouds his reason; savagery and a marked dislike of the Black family often break through the brittle veneer of gentility bred into him by generations of self-proclaimed aristocrats. Volatile, a ticking bomb, Rabastan is free from the responsibilities of heir, yet is as fundamentalist as all of the wizarding powerhouses put together.

RODOLPHUS LESTRANGE ❖ journal pending (pbs: Léo Legrand & David Gandy) A testament to nobility, it would only take a glance to recognize this man as a product of good blood and good breeding – and to see that he knows it too. The more reserved of the Lestrange brothers, but no less dangerous, Rodolphus exudes a cool aloofness that can strike an individual as charming or arrogant. Above everything, he is his father’s son and Voldemort’s man, making him quite an intimidating force indeed.

SABINE LESTRANGE ❖ journal pending (pb: Gillian Anderson) Elegant and well-bred, Sabine Lestrange has found happiness in life through the actions of her husband and sons. With a strong will and sense of duty (as well as an indulgent streak of favouritism, in the case of Rabastan) she has brought up her sons to exacting standards and would give her all for either of them, or her husband.

PRIAM PARKINSON ❖ priam (pb: Federico Moyano) Priam, fourth child of known businessman Phocas Parkinson, became known as the wayward of the whole Parkinson bunch. He had dropped out of Hogwarts after his fifth year and defied many of his father's rules. However thus, Priam managed to succeed and garner a name of his own through his expertise in sports, other athletic ventures, and broom-races. Despite of an admirable reputation in society, Priam had avoided the lure of Voldemort and his Death Eaters and maintained his neutrality in both wars that had ensued. Later on, after the success of an unconventional profession, a respectable marriage, and the birth of his only child Pansy, Priam had eventually become a corner-stone in Britain's sports and Quidditch games, known by most (if not all) sports enthusiasts to be one of the moguls that sustained the above-standard quality of entertainment in the British Isles.

EVAN ROSIER ❖ rosieur (pbs: Sándor Gacsal) A riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, Evan Rosier is a prince of cats with an agenda all of his own. Charming and calculating when playing at politics, he is a strong ally and far too dangerous to be considered a simple pawn. House Rosier must rise and Evan plans to guide it back to its zenith by hook or by crook, with a smile on his face whilst he does so.

THIBAUD ROSIER ❖ rosier (pbs: Michael Camiloto & James Purefoy) Thibaud Orvelle Rosier, the eldest of the two Rosier siblings, was a man who had not been carried into the flow of a well-known game of political strategy. True, he had favored one side over the other but the bulk of his motivation in allying himself with Voldemort was the mere fact that his family, one of the few remaining Pureblood names, was already fading. As a loyal son of his father, he couldn't let it happen. The pride of glorified heritage therefore fell upon his shoulders as the head of the Rosier name. Sorted into Ravenclaw, Thibaud was known to have preferred intellect and knowledge to any other aspect of strength; more of the theory than the practice of applied magic. He was a man of shrewd thinking, passion, and, at times, ambition, all of which he hoped his children (in this case, Evan) would inherit.
