This is a work in progress and can be added to with input. The Weaving Society Charter
Established in the Year of Tedious RecollectionArticle IWeaving is a privilege and as such must be practiced with skill and care. Weavers willing to obey by the code of ethics outlined in this charter may join the society and receive a monthly stipend for their work weaving.
Article IIThe governing body of the society shall be comprised of the eldest weavers within each district of Aylasia. One weaver each for Little Spot, Great Spot, and each island. Two weavers for every other territory on the Aylasian mainland. Each governor will name a successor upon leaving her position in the society and may serve as long as she sees fit and continues to follow the code of ethics.
Addendum to Article IIThere shall be no district governor for Linoa Island.
Article IIINew members are to be considered on a trial basis to ensure that they are willing to follow the charter explicitly. During this time the new member will receive a reduced stipend. When the new member is deemed worthy they are classified as a full member and may receive a regular stipend.
Addendum to Article IIIFormer members who left or were removed from the society for violations of charter may be reconsidered for membership after a suitable amount of time passes. They will be treated as new members: while receiving a reduced stipend they will be under greater scrutiny for a trial period. Continued observation of the member will be decided upon as a case by case basis.
