She's of average build, neither too skinny nor fat and average height, standing right between 5'2 and 5'3. She could be considered pretty, she supposes, but she's not extremely vain about her appearance.

DETAILED PERSONALITY:
Sage is a friendly, artistic girl who is generally content to blend into the background. The daughter to two would be celebrities who never quite made it, her biggest claim to fame is that she's Maggie Holland's best friend. This, of course, means that those who have crossed Maggie probably dislike her by association (and with fair reason - she has a tendency to get a little protective when Maggie is hurting), but Sage has never been one to care about being liked or popular. She is who she is without apology and as far as she's concerned, if you're going to judge her by the company she keeps (not that she'll hear a harsh word about Maggie, anyway, unless it's coming from her own lips), you're not worth her time.
She may not seek the limelight, but Sage isn't shy. She rarely blushes, she's actually pretty charismatic once she decides to strike up a conversation. She doesn't often go out of her way to be social, but she's not unfriendly in the least.
However, that doesn't mean she isn't paying attention. Sage knows more about what goes on, especially in her high school, than most people would give her credit for. She lurks well, snapping pictures with her camera, overhearing conversations that are meant to be private. No one, not even Maggie, knows she's writing the gossip column for the school paper this year and she intends to keep it that way. It's much harder to get that juicy gossip when people know it's you, after all.
Sage is a little bit of a party girl. She definitely knows how to have a good time and she has a tendency to focus on that far more than things like homework. Who wants to study when there's a good party going on?
HISTORY:
If it isn't obvious by her name, Sage's parents have always been a little on the quirky side. She had a happy childhood, but it wasn't exactly your normal household with the white picket fence and the perfect suburban lifestyle. Her father was a musician who did well enough for himself, but never quite made it big, though he's retired from that nowadays and her mother was one of those actresses whose name seems familiar, but you can't quite place what you've seen her in. They both worked odd jobs here and there in between gigs, making sure Sage always has the things she needed growing up, but neither of them had a very conventional view on life. Sage grew up without a lot of rules, always being encouraged to find and follow her own way.
She's an only child, but where some in her position may have longed for a brother or sister, Sage was perfectly content to have her parents all to herself. She didn't lack for company, anyway, with plenty of kids around her own age, including her best friend Maggie who was more like a sister to her, anyway. Her upbringing may not have been typical, but she's been very happy with her life.
Unlike her parents, Sage rarely seeks the limelight. She has no designs on being famous and she doesn't care for being the center of attention. Hers and Maggie's friendship is perfect in that way - she's content to let Maggie enjoy the attention while she stands by and observes it all.
Sage is rarely seen without a camera in her hand. She's been into photography since she was a child. It's the perfect hobby for her, being on that side of the camera, and she's found that she has a natural flair for capturing things on film. With her senior year just underway, she's looking at colleges and trying to decide where to go, but she's hoping to major in photography wherever she ends up.
