In the appropiate future, and in the literal scale, I'm waiting for this class to be over so I can eat. Others in the world could be waiting for the train, waiting for their college application, waiting for their next driver's lesson, waiting for their lovers, waiting to die and so on.
We might be waiting for something to happen in the future...Although what's the point of thinking about the future when it's something as of yet out of our control?
