Rules!Drama
→ We all love some good in character (IC) drama but out of character(OOC) drama is not frowned upon, it's not tolerated! Nothing spoils someones muse for a game faster then with OOC drama and people crossing the line between OOC and IC. Don't do it. If you catch someone doing it please email the mods @ hitchedmods @ mail.com or send us an IM if you see us online. We want to know about it and we will deal with it.
Playing Rules
→ Godmodding is not allowed. At all. We find you godmodding (playing some else's character without their permission) we will give you one warning about it and if your caught doing it again then we'll kick you.
→ Mary Sue's and Geary Stu's will not be allowed in. There are a million ways to make your OOTP or DE different and original. Please attempt to look over your character with a critical eye before applying.
→ Here at Hitched we are a bit more relaxed about spelling and grammar then most places. Not everyone's perfect but look over your applications and posts before hitting the submit button. Make sure that your post or application is saying exactly what you want so other's do not get confused. Be mindful of typo's but don't stress about every little word, comma or semi colon.
→ You are allowed four characters total. We'd like you to at least wait a week after bringing your first character into the game to make sure you like us and the other writers. After that you can bring in others. We expect you to be active with all your characters and if you are having trouble with that we will let you know and find a way to remedy it.
Shipping
→ We make the relationship part of this game really easy. For romantic relationships you really just have the person your character is engaged/married to. Not every marriage is going to be one of hate and angst. The characters might learn a rhythm to get along with or might learn more about the other to help them along. Socializing might be difficult for some Death Eaters but I'm sure they will find ways to contact one another or even make friends outside their normal circle.
→ Heterosexuals, homosexuals and bisexuals all exist in the world but stay true to canon. Harry, Ron and Hermione are heterosexuals, end of story. If your character is gay then they will be matched up with another character that is as well, they will not be made to suffer by marrying someone of the opposite gender.
→ We know that most people like a good smut scene but others may not. Please if your going to thread it put a warning up to indicate smut and also make sure your partner is comfortable with the thread, if not please try and work something out.
→ With marriage comes babies, mostly so as a way to control this there will be rules. Pregnancies will run in real time or if we do a time jump then will go according to that. Miscarriages happen but if your constantly miscarrying for the drama of it we will warn you and your second warn may result in being asked to leave. As for premature births seven months is our limit since any child born before hand, unless with a stroke of pure luck, normally dies. We're not saying all your babies are going to be perfect and defect free but we would like it to be realistic.
