Now that Keiji had received the correct antidote, he could complete his recovery at the BH6 HQ.

When there was finally time, Amiko went to his bedroom.

"I talked to my father," she asid.

	He laid on the bed on top of the covers, full-clothed in night clothes. He wasn't tired, but his body was wracked by all the spasms he had gone through so he really couldn't move too much without pain. He wasn't in the best of moods. Inactivity didn't suit him. 	"That the Hand attacked us; put you in the hospital. His next visit is becoming quite the deadline; if the Hand are still threatening us, he intends deal with them after his own fashion." 	He hisses a little, he was still in considerable pain, but her efforts help. "Deal with the Hand? Forgive me, love, but even fractured one man does not simply deal with the Hand." Maybe the pain was aggravating him, but for some reason Amiko's constant portrayal of her father as some kind of unstoppable force irritated him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

She keeps trying to sooth things as tenderly as she can, physically. As to the emotional irritation, Amiko's hero-worship of her father was something Keiji was just going to have to accept if the relationship was to survive.

"The orders are doubtless coming from one man, my love. One man who's already lost his best operative, will continue to lose others, and will lose a great deal more if the problem hasn't stopped in a few months. I'm not quite foolish enough to think my father will wipe the organization off the map, but he has still dealt with the Hand quite conveniently before. And I'm sure he wouldn't turn down help."

	Amiko looks almost pathetic as she wishes she could come up with something better than "She won't. I will look after her." She starts to look more helpless as she touches his face. "What alternative is there, Keiji? Keeping you with us was the condition I got for keeping you out of prison... do you realize how easily they could get to you there?"
