Martin Baum ([info]magic_hands) wrote in [info]hotshot_hawkeye,
Well he'd said meeting, but really it was only because another explanation would be muddled. People came to Dr. Strange for all sorts of things, other heroes especially, and mostly consultation work unless there was something major. Dr. Strange had finished looking into a query for a hero (why did so many of them have to deal in office buildings he wondered), and had given Martin the results along with parts of it written, to deliver. He knew it was to get him into the city and more used to being around tech and crowded places, in addition to practice explaining magic in layman's terms. But with news of protests over things, which meant hostile crowds, Martin hadn't felt quite comfortable dealing with all this very non-magic stuff on his own. Besides, this way they could go for lunch after and it'd be fun!

"Hello," he smiled and tipped his hat as he came up beside her after leaving the building and looked over to see what game she was playing. He'd have preferred to teleport out rather than use the elevator and main entrance, but the person insisted and Dr. Strange would have suggested he get used to containing magic around people. But cramped metal box and being in potentially close quarters with others? Unpleasant at best.

"What are you playing?"
