"Yeah. I have a new family to help out. They're very sweet. And they're still coping with their son being deaf. It's good to see they're so ready to jump into ASL classes though, it will help a lot." She knew there were other options but they might not be able to go for surgery because of health care.
But they didn't need to talk about that. "And another one of 'my kids' is having issues in school. He doesn't deal with his temper well."
