It seems as though your influence has reached yet another member of what was once the majestic Black family. My brother's death lies entirely on you -- what had Regulus ever done to deserve such treatment? You were once our role model, but knowing how eager you were to treat me with such hatred.. I can only imagine what you uttered to him before demanding his leave of your precious home, ultimately leading to his demise. There are no words to describe how utterly disappointed I am to have ever claimed I loved you.

	You speak as if you knew a bloody thing about family. Having lost your daughter, brother and nephew, I'd say you were the one blind -- but who am I speak of such things? I know you were only angry that Alphard was removed from the family for sticking up for me and not for your daughter -- it shows how much hatred you've held toward me over the years, I suppose.

I know Regulus wanted out of his involvement with you know who and he came to you for help, and yet you offered none.

Is there anything else about you I don't know yet, Uncle?

Be grateful that you do not know them, Sirius. Whether you believe me or not is, at this point, irrelevant, but the simple truth of the matter is that knowing these things is dangerous. Had you been more attentive, had you not been more concerned with decorating your room with Muggle trash and concerning yourself with the affairs of filth, you would have seen just how dangerous a position your parents' ambitions left the rest of us in, and how, for years, I have tried to rid ourselves of the bonds keeping us in league with the Dark Lord.

Mark me well, Sirius: I have fought for too long to rid our family of the corruption of this cause. My own daughter succumbed to it, as did your brother -- but he, at least, saw He Who Must Not Be Named for what he is.

My brother was an idiot to get involved in such things, though you know why he had? Because my parents were just as idiotic as you are for allowing it.

And don't tell me, uncle, that I'm not involved in anything dangerous -- as if I'm too cowardly to be -- because I'm wholeheartedly supporting the opposite side and fight day in and day out to keep myself alive.

If there are Death Eaters watching your estate, I hope they end your life as slowly and as painfully as they did my brothers.
