Yaaar [05 Jun 2004|08:55pm] Well let's see, yesturday was my last day of class. NO MORE!!!! w00t! I got a 59% on the Voucher Exam and a 27% on the CCNA Practice Exam. Pretty friggin good huh?!! haha Whatever, class is done, it's time for summer!!! So I came home, probably chatted online. I did talk to Micah during class, he wanted to do something, go to the movies or chill or whatever. So I told him I'd let him know in a little. Anyways, I cancelled my order on my ATI Radeon X800 XT from best buy since I "thought" I found it on NewEgg.com for $460.00 instead of $530.00 and I could have it by the end of next week probably AND I could order another SATA cable and a NEW Power Supply. So I ordered from NewEgg...then I showed Greg and he was like so what's the difference between the Pro and the XT and I was uh oh....So I quickly checked to make sure I had ordered the XT and NOT the Pro...I ordered the PRO! So I was rushing around trying to cancel my order, call Best Buy, this is all happening around 8pm and we needed to be at the movies around 9:20. Fortunetly there's a Best Buy right next to the movies. So I said LETS GO! So we stormed up there, I went to Best Buy, they actually had the pros and a Best Buy in New Hampshire had the XTs but there's no way I am driving down there. So I was alright screw it, it was like 9:19 so we ran over the theatre. This is a new theatre to me, but it's really really nice. So we saw The Day After Tommorow. It was "eh"! Nothing special. It had really cool visual effects and all but the acting and that stuff was crap. So it was over by 11:30, we all came back here, but Micah had to egt up early today so he took Greg home and went home himself. I have the house to myself this weekend, my parents had to take my sister to some thing, dunno...so yeah I am all alone. Megan might come over, but I don't know, or I'll just go up there which is cool or I might not do anything which is likely since she's seemed really goddamned busy this weekend. At least she sent me some texts :) Haven't responded, I'll probably call her later today/tonight maybe never hahaha So yeah, I ended up re-placing my Newegg order. I figured it all out in my head, either get the XT and not be able to use it since my current PS sucks, OR get the PRO and get a Power Supply and be able to use any game on MAX settings still, have a new Power Supply and be able to use the other 160GB HDD wihch sounded better to me. I can ALWAYS get the XT another day! :) So yeah, I took a nap today too for the first time in a while. Hanging out with Megan makes me not able to do that haha But that's ok Megan is much much better then a little sleep! I put together a machine for Greg today. It's $889.00, here's some stats: Pentium 4 3.0C GHz 800MHz FSB w/ HT 512MBs GEIL RAM w/ heat sinks Western Digital SATA 120GB HDD Creative Labs Audigy ATI Radeon 9600XT NEC DVD Burner Aspire Dreamer X-II Case Although I never figured in a monitor, so I dunno that'll be a nother $100 - $150.00. Oh well, I built a pretty nice one there for him, so I'll show him when he gets online later. Not much happening right now, waiting for some movies to download, might go outside for a bit, it's pretty damned nice out. w00t! :) post comment
