Mac UG! [05 Oct 2004|08:57am] Well today was interesting. Well I woke up around 9am, went to breakfast, then to class which was the COMP128 LAB and it's all so easy since I know all the basic Linux stuff. Although I hate Vi. I find no use for it when there's Nano. Anyways, I finished an hour early as usual, so I went back to my dorm room, played on the computer, I think I talked to Jess, but I can't remember..I know I talked to Robs friend, and I also emailed rob and my mom about my situation. I hope I can get work at Small Dog this holiday season, that'd be really nice. Then I talked to Glenn, he told me about WIT's Apple User Group. I was pretty excieted when I found out about that. So then I went to lunch with Jack, didn't really eat anything. We had a lot of time left which I wasn't happy about cause I kinda wanted to go to class right after that. We ended up coming back to the room, I just messed around on the computer until it was time to go to class. C++ was boring and I didn't really like it, I am sick of programming, I always have been! :) So after that I went back to the dorm, played around on the computer, then it was time to meet Glenn and his friend so we could go to the first meeting. I thought there would be either like 5 people or 500. But there was about 25 - 30 people. Not sure if it was really a meeting or like a seminar kinda thiing. We learned how to use GarageBand, which is by far one of the most amazing applications I have ever seen. I hope to get it quite soon. it's really cool, after about an hour or so of that they gave away 2 iPods for free, and will keep doing so for the rest of time. I love it. I have finally found a really cool group and something I am interested in. I can't wait for the next meetings! I had a lot of fun! Aiiyeee! [05 Oct 2004|08:57am] Well, the only music I have is the 12GBs on my iPod. I am going to have to just listen to that until I can get another machine. I wrote an email to Rob, I haven't seen him online lately so I dunno what he is upto. But I asked him if it might be at all possible that I could work at Small Dog during the holiday season. I actually don't see myself getting a new machine anytime soon, but I guess that's what I am going to ask for for Christmas. I'll have it be like my birthday present too and graduation hahaha I'll pay for some of it too though. It'll be really nice. Anyways, I only have 2 classes today, I should probably back early from lab though since I always finish early. Jack had some meeting at 7am this morning, hahaha I wonder how it went, he's already back and sleeping. I'll find out when I come back this afternoon. I still haven't talked to Sam cause of her little rule...I think I can do it without flipping out and killing someone. Heh heh heh...Just gotta keep myself busy and not think about it. Kinda hard when well it's just hard dammit. Alright, going to get ready and stuff now... post comment

Lost [05 Oct 2004|08:58am] Well lost 320GBs of data today, 160GBs is recoverable. I am selling my PC, parted or whole, $1200 whole and parts vary. Pentium 4 2.8GHz w/ HT 1280MBs RAM 320GBs of space ATI x800 Sound Blaster Audigy 1394 External Audigy Fan Control Thermaltake 480watt PSU I'm done with PC, they make me vomit. I'll be getting an Apple machine, hopefully a G4 tower or a G5 pending how much I make off selling that piece of shit. That's all that happened tonight, oh yeah I made that colorful DVD and if I can get Greg to hold my other 160GB in his machine, and if I buy a DVD burner, or I could wait for an Apple with a SATA connection, and hopefully there's a way to read windows, if not, then it'll be a lot of movies files to the iPod and then to the Apple...agghrrr!!! post comment
