Still trying to keep up with commenting in journals, slap me if I missed you or something! The last couple days I've just been working at Small Dog, Wednesday was just consulting so it was more money and less work which I loved. Thursday was a normal 9am to 6pm day. Although it was shortened since I took a longer then usual lunch.
Loyal brought in his xBox for me to softmod. Since I had only modded 1 xBox before I really had no idea what I was doing but I quickly found some tutorials (made sure I bookmarked them) and got that all done in like 2 hours. Sad because it was supposed to take 10 minutes. I also had to use my XBMC folder since the download was 65MBs or something. I actually really don't know where to get XBMC because the official site sucks...Loyal also had some good games, Star Wars Battlefront and Halo 2. So I made my way back to work. Jon talked to me about doing some non-Small Dog consulting for his friend. Said I probably would. We played basketball which was like the first time all week and it was a damn good game. My team finally won, 9 - 11 or 8 - 11 I can't remember. But wow, it gets so hot out there! Then I worked on an xServe RAID and Tech Tails until it was 6pm.
Nothing really to interesting happened last night, I had to drive my car to get fixed, and my Dad got me some ice cream on the way back. I learned how to copy xBox games and how to ISO them using some app...can't remember the name, began with a "C" though! Anyways, you need to put the game in the xBox optical drive, then with this program or FlashFXP you need to download the game files from the D:\ directory. Then patch some of the files and create the ISO file. After that you can burn it to a DVD. Lucky for me Berkeys PowerMac G4 decided to be a huge piece of shit last night, so I'll be going into work and using the PowerMac G5s there. I hope this works, cause if it does...I'll be hitting up the video store in Waterbury and I'll have my Dad get some from Blockbuster.
Hrmm. I got my hands on Windows Vista Beta 1 and I am using it right now. Morgan helped out with that and both of us want some little 3rd party app to control xBox Media Center so we don't have to keep our browsers open. It would be so much easier and nicer.
Everyone go listen to the Appleseed Cast or the Appleseed Soundtrack! Today I shall go ride Nippit if I feel like it, and going to burn those xBox ISOs and that's about it. Pops is getting pizza for dinner. Mom, sis and Hayley have left for New York City, New Jersey, CT, and Massachusetts. HOME ALONE, sorta...:)
Have a lovely day everyone!
