STFU YOU COCK! [14 Dec 2005|07:24am] Alright, wow, day from hell? Yes, mostly! So besides it being fucking below zero, work was nuts and my friends an asshole!! So let's see... Geek/Work Chat: Got to work and put my stuff into my little area and went upstairs. Berkey wasn't around so I kinda just waited there. Was nice to see Zoe cause I haven't seen in a while. Incase you're wondering she's Berkeys dog haha Fnally he came and the people I was consulting with were also there and ready to go! So I took them up into the conference room which was about 40 degrees F. We have been meaning to get the furnace replaced and like Berkey said it would happen on the coldest week of the year, and low and behold, YES, they're finally replacing it this week. So it's very cold through out the buildings...UUUGH! So I first talked them about what they would like to accomplish by being here and what they wanted to do. So that was quite simple and painless. So we worked on getting their new machine up and running first. Simple and easy. Also back up documents from the older iBook G3 and put those ones on the new machine. Then we worked on updating the older G3 to Tiger and getting information sorted out on the new and old one. Also answered tons of questions they had with no issues. All easy...then we noticed the mail we took from the old machine wasn't showing up on either of the machines. The iBook G4 or the iBook G3 which had been wiped fresh and reloaded with OS X Tiger. CRAP! Ok, so this shit goes on for like hours and I get Morgan and Mark and Berkey working on it...fucking like on the 8th hour of this shit, Berkey just drops the OLD Mail folder (from ~/Library/Mail/) into the new machines Library and WHAT, IT WORKS!..... We tried installe Mailsmith to import the mbox's, tried to do it with Thunderbird and it sort of worked but we couldn't load them onto my Small Dog IMAP account or my .Mac IMAP account because of invalid headers....K SO WTF!!! Berkey was so happy that HIS REALLY REALLY SIMPLE WAY WORKED...FUCK so yeah...this 30 minute consulting job turned into an 8.5 hour long one....WONDERFUCKINGFUL!.... Anyways, Troy and I are going to do iPods this Sunday ALL DAY...good money hehe Other Chat: Alright so about my friend, because we couldn't see Narnia this weekend or whatever, we made plans to see it today. TODAY BEING IN THE DAY! And then last night he tells me he's going to dinner with his parents or some bullshit and we have to go AFTER...Ok...DAY DAY DYA, KEYWORD IS FUCKING DAY!....It's a good thing he blew me off because I wouldn't have been able to make it in the day or at least I could have done the 6pm anyways. But no he comes up with all this bullshit about how I don't answer the phone, HELLO, I NEVER DO. I have EXPLICITLY told him NO PHONE. Email me or fucking iChat me, how the fuck hard is it, and then he tries to blame this shit on me because he's a fucking cocksucker. But who care right, not me at this point, I just keep plugging along and I will be seeing King Kong with Keith tomorrow night and that is going to be fucking amazing!! I hate how Keith and I aren't in the same departments anymore and won't be for like another 2 months! BAH! I got so many new DVDs. THE DUKES OF HAZARD!! HAHA WOOT! Corpse Bride which I will be watching another 22 million and half time. It's Cold. [14 Dec 2005|07:24am] Wow, it's sooooo cold!!! It was -2 F last night...I don't know how I survived the night because my parents feels it should also be about that cold inside the house. BRRR!!! Anyways, stayed up till around 1am kickin' it with Emilie until we realized we had work in the morning and I personally didn't want to fall asleep while in the middle of my consulting appointment. Woke up around 8am this morning, Emilie was of course already awake haha So we hung out for a bit before she went to work. I made myself some breakfast and did emails, and message boards and stuff. Just warming the ole' car up right now. It is now -6. I really should get Nippet that blanket cause he must be freezing his ass off you would think...I think I am going to do my consulting, then come home and sleep and I will go from there. I am supposed to see Narnia with Sean but now he says it has to be later which I am not really up for. I am sooo tired. I would like to just do all my dinosaurs homework and have that with and enjoy the rest of my week working and riding. Well...guess I should get going! :) post comment
