Consulting + More [28 Dec 2005|07:19am] I went to sleep at 6:30pm last night haha I did wake up around 8:30pm though and I was off the walls. Sleeping has that sort of effect on me, especially when I go to bed really early. I couldn't keep my head up though, so I just passed out. When I woke up, I got a little food and I was so awake. I think I stayed up till around 2am last night hehe Geek/Work Chat: I had consulting this morning around 10am. Although I went to the place and it didn't look like anyone was there. So I called Paul, the guy I was working for but their phones are dead since they're moving. Then I called Rob and waited for him to call me back to see what was going on. Anyways, I finally made it to the right place and the work was short and easy. I am going back next week, Thursday probably, whenever they're free. I just need to get some OS X Tiger to bring them :) I can't believe I actually got that HP LaserJet printer working with no issues. Lucky me haha Horsey Chat: I stopped by The Tack Exchange today. I wanted to thank Bev in person for calling me the other night. She wasn't there when I got there so I ended up buying a green/blue lead rope. I now need either a dark forest green or a dark blue halter...what do you think horsey people? Anyways, just as I finished paying for the lead rope, Bev pulled up! So I talked with her for a good while. ONe of the girls from the barn came in. Emily...that makes what, 22 Emily's I know now haha So then i talked to Bev about rebuilding her website. And I listened to what she wanted and wanted to change. She said she does have someone working on it and all, but she would definitely call/contact me if she was not happy with the work :) Plus maybe I can exchange work for horsey stuff. Other Chat: Hrmmm I got Subway today. Lovely. I was looking for some computer gear, mainly a 20inch wide screen LCD in both Best Buy and Circuit City...the best they have is 19" square ones. Stupid newbs. I'll just order one from Dell later. And yes, DELL SUCKS...at least their desktops and notebooks are complete shit. But their LCD monitors are quite nice, and CHEAP! They use the SAME EXACT LCD panel that Apple does and charges about $400 less. So, go figure! Haha I am also having Morgan look for some 80mm and 120mm UV fans for me. Might as well as take advantage of the UV reactive motherboard right?! Morgan and I also found something out, the fans in our system either slow down or stop COMPLETELY when it gets cold enough. Well last night it did just that!
