World of Warcraft: A Little Update [30 Aug 2006|09:15am]

So I’ve been hard at work on trying to level up my character. I am so excited to get to level 40 since that’s when you can get a mount. Although I doubt I’ll have enough money at that level. I am currently a level 37 but I am very close to moving to level 38. My plan is to get to level 38 and then collect Gnomer quests and then I will run that. I will continue to level and I will run some other instances and hopefully get some better gear.

I’ve downloaded a couple new mods. I download one that makes one giant bag, another one that shows status on my pet, another that shows me all my quests.

Current Mods:
PetMonitor
Bagnon
MonkeyQuest
Titan Panel

Also does anyone know if it costs anything to keep things in the bank?? I just dropped an item in there the other day. I have no idea how the bank works really, maybe I should go RTFM

I also added some new screenshots to my Flickr set so make sure to check those out!

Horses Used To Help Drug Addicts [30 Aug 2006|09:17am]
An innovative drug and alcohol programme using horses is being trialled at a hospital in the Borders.

Recovering addicts at the Castle Craig Hospital are taking part in treatment known as equine-assisted psychotherapy.

Patients are encouraged to carry out simple tasks, which require them to successfully communicate with a horse.

The programme is said to help drug addicts and alcoholics understand there are no instant solutions to their problems.

The horse work complements a 12-step recovery programme, based on total abstinence.

Hospital chairman Peter McCann claimed that while it was more expensive in the short term, the programme had a 50% success rate.

I thought this was a pretty interesting article. Horses rule!
