My WWDC Predictions [08 Jun 2007|05:30pm] Well, WWDC is a lot sooner then I thought, it's on Monday! I am very excited as usual, and I can't wait to see what Steve is going to show us come Monday. My top 5 predictions are: 1. iPhone SDK - Developers will be allowed to make widgets or very small, protected applications. I say protected because I can't think of a better word, but those applications will only be able to access specific parts of the phone operating system so that people can't do malicious things and such or get around and unlock phones and do other things AT&T/Apple wouldn't approve of. 2. We'll see something about Leopard, possibly hear about some of the top secret features. We'll hear more about the features that have already been introduced. I am hoping that we'll hear about something really cool in Leopard, I am looking forward to this OS a lot, especially OS X Leopard Server. 3. The Xserve might get something cool, this is after all WWDC, not MacWorld. Maybe they'll update it with octo-core. SWEET! 4. The iPhone won't require the 2 year contract, you'll be able to purchase it at the $499 and $599 price so long as you're a current customer. If not, that's lame. It's expensive as it is (hell I don't even want the phone part of it...). 5. Apple will talk about touch screen technology and how they're going to implement this into future product. You all must remember WWDC isn't MacWorld (like I said above) so many people are thinking about new iMacs, Mac Minis, etc...that's stuff that usually happens at MacWorld. WWDC is a DEVELOPERS CONFERENCE. Thinks like xCode, Xserves, MacPros, developer tools, etc are what WWDC is/should be all about. Some people just get to worked up, they need to understand what happens at what conference. As much as I love hearing people thoughts about what's going to come out of WWDC, they think 'MacWorld' too much. Oh well, just my 2 cents! post comment

I have so many movies and have rented the ones I wanted to see but didn't have so now I don't have anything! It can be in DVD or Blu-Ray format! post comment
