Work & More Work... [12 Aug 2007|12:36am] [ mood | tired ] [ music | // Anberlin - "Godspeed" // ] Well, I've been quite busy the last couple days with work and such. emilie has decided to sell Nemo which is fine by me. She's needs a much better horse, one that is broke and doesn't freak out all the time. We don't really have the time nor money to train at this point. We need a horse that is ready to go. We did go riding a few times this week and also worked at the barn. There was a slight incident with one of the horses at the barn, but I think everything is okay. We'll get the details tomorrow though. I do hope everything is okay though. Work has been pretty busy since I am just catching up on all the descriptions for products that couldn't be done last week and the week before because everything was down. Of course somethings are still broken which sucks, hopefully the IT guys get it together and fix things faster. We're also cranking away on the new website. It's coming along, slowly but surely. My computer at work is really starting to suck. I think it might be a good idea to just refresh it. I've installed so much crap on there and downloaded so many files it's just a complete mess. I've been hard at work correctly tagging and adding album artwork to my iTunes Library. On Thursday I stayed up until about 3:45am just adding music and some anime to my iPhone. of course I was also adding album artwork and such. I think when my iMac comes I'll move the music drive from the Mac mini to the iMac. I ordered a new Linksys router so that I can have multiple IP addresses on my GMA line. It should be in by Monday, I am hoping it is cause that's also when my iMac is supposed to come in. I installed my new Intel switch into my Waterbury network. As I mentioned before it's not good enough for a real live situation because of the dead ports on it. I have looked a few Linksys switches though and I'll probably get one of those eventually. I got the new Blaqk Audio album and even Emilie likes it. I absolutely love it, it's awesome. I've been listening to it for like 2 days straight now. Also picked up iLife '08 which is good stuff. I really only use iPhoto and I actually haven't really noticed or used any of the new features. Maybe it's that I don't really understand how Events work, they seem to be just like rolls to me, nothing more. When I was at Small Dog this morning, Will showed me the alpha stuff in the new iWork '08. I must say it's really cool. Emilie and I watched disk 1 of The Twelve Kingdoms. I just finished the book earlier this week. The book is great, I highly recommend it to anyone into the fantasy genre. The DVD/anime on the other hand isn't that great. There's a lot of things they changed between the book and movie. It seems a lot shorter then the book and some major thigns got changed that I don't think should have gotten changed, oh well...it's amusing to watch it. I got a ton of new movies, we watched Blades of Glory this afternoon. Hilarious. I'm going to re-get all 11 seasons of South Park. I already have 9, 10, and 11. Will probably have to get another LaCie soon. Still looking for some rechargable Energizer batteries cause Duracells suck. Getting the Eternal Sonata demo along with the Marathon demo. If it's good I'll buy it. Will also be getting the Stranglehold demo. Morgan said it was pretty good. I haven't gotten any new 360 games lately. I guess nothing good has been coming out. I really want to get Super Mario Strikers for Wii. I wish I actually had time to play games...I think once I finish up my network and some website things, I'll be good :) I suppose I should end this never-ending entry. post comment

Scribbld is Style [12 Aug 2007|03:37am] [ mood | satisfied ] Well it's 3:35am right now and I've just completed the theme for the site. I pretty much ganked some WordPress theme and made it work with this. There are still a lot of graphical bugs and issues. I'm not really to concerned since I don't use the site much and no one else is on here. At least it looks cool though! Ok, I think it's time for some sleep. I got all those 360 demos, except Marathon. I'll snag that tomorrow! post comment

Super Mario Strikers [12 Aug 2007|02:36pm] [ mood | happy ] [ music | // As I Lay Dying - "Forced to Die" // ] Well today we continued our quests for rechargeable batteries but found nothing in town. We went to Best Buy and they had some but it would have been like $50 for the charger 4 AA's and 4 AAA's. Instead I got the Microsoft Charge & Go kit for $40. I figured that'd be a lot better then having to deal with batteries all over the place. emilie got World Championship Breeder's Cup. It looks crappy compared to Gallop Racer 2004 but I think the schematics are better cause Emilie keeps getting 1st and 2nd place. I think we'll get Gallop Racer 2006 soon too. I picked up Super Mario Strikers. I cannot wait to play it. Emilie is hogging the TV right now though so maybe in a little. Hopefully Will gets a Wii and Strikers so we can play together over the net. Plus it's free unlike LIVE!. We stopped at PetsMart, I almost got this green anole. They're small and stay small which is what I liked about them. We ended up just getting a new water bottle for the finks and something for the fish. I played some Eternal Sonata this morning. I really like it. If you're into RPGs this is a great game. The battle system is different from anything I am used to, it kinda cool. I think I'll definitely get this game when it comes out (09-17-2007). Well we're going to relax and play some games. Then we're off to work at the barn. Hopefully it's not to hot out this afternoon. post comment
