Horse Shopping [25 Aug 2007|10:58pm] [ mood | hot ] [ music | // Bayside - "Masterpiece" // ] Well today ws pretty nice. It was quite warm out, maybe a bit too much for my taste but it wasn't unbearable. We got breakfast at KC's, our usual. Then we hung out here at the apartment, er actually I did, Emilie went to the barn to grab her saddle and helmet. We left around 11am. The drive wasn't that bad...to many bikers out on the road though. I hate that. We gt down there around 1:30PM I would say. Made some decent time. Within 15 minutes of arriving we already had emilie on a horse. The first one they brought out we didn't like, but the 2nd one was actually quite nice. The next few were so so, then the next one was really nice. So then Emilie tried out that first one that we liked but went back to this other one we liked and eventually we picked that one. So yeah, that'd be the one we bought. We're still trying to figure out a name. They're going to truck him up sometime in the next week. I cannot wait to ride him myself! Larger image in the photo gallery. So yeah, that was todays "event". I came home and took a nap. We had a real good thunder storm but we didn't loose power which was nice. I worked on the realm status page with Morgan today. It's pretty much done although I think we both would like to show class icons instead of the text. Also the race. You can check it out here. I did play some Overlord this morning. I am on my way to getting the blue minions. It's definitely a fun game, I do enjoy it. I am going to beat that and then get into Bioshock. I updated my profile with my PS3 and xBox gamertag things. I think tonight we'll just watch a movie and relax. It's been much more relaxing around here lately.
