Well, as usual, I've been prettu busy with things. School, work and the normal day to day server maintenance & upkeeping, plus everything else.
Kitty seems to be getting better although she still sounds kinda conjested which sucks. I almost brought her back to the shelter but I think we're going to stick it out cause she's really not doing that bad. She is BAD though, a complete terror. She climbs up me when I am trying to work on the servers and whatnot, she'll hop all over the keyboard and create a mess. She's a great kitty though.
I'm working on getting some Cisco certs, mostly for SMB, not CCNA, at least not yet. it's kinda fun, it's sorta like a refresher kind of thing with some additional sales information included. I actually got one of the courses completed today which was nice.
I also now manage the AdWords for Small Dog Electronics which is kinda cool. Unfortunately both of my ad variations got rejected cause I used the word 'iPod' in them and that's not allowed. Of course I really don't know much about the system and what's allowed and what's not. Still learning...
So I deployed the new server today, unfortunately it looks like Morgan did some improper configurations on it so her friend is helping out and fixing it for us, he's great. Hopefully everything will be back online in an hour or 2.
Windows Admin class wasn't to bad yesterday, just did labs for basically the entire time. And it was in Active Directory so that's kinda cool. At least I am learning about the idea and concepts of directories. I can then apply that to my usage of Open Directory.
I FINALLY got into the serpent in Nepto's Dungeon in Final Fantasy III. This site here helped me figure out what my issue was. Apparently you have to make sure you talk to these 2 guys in the viking caves, and that did the trick. Funny how the official players guide didn't mention that at all, nor did any guide/walkthrough that I found online. Oh well, so I am finally inside the serpent but haven't had time to much else.
I finally got the box to ship my 360 off to the Microsoft repair center. It should be about a month before I see it again, kinda sucky. At least I have my other xBox and I have a boatload of games too...and my PS3 which takes 20 years to download firmware updates. I am getting 3 demos for it now though, Jericho, Rally Revo and Ratchet and Clank. Hopefully those should entertain me fo a little while my poor xBox is being fixed.
Not much else to say at the moment...so I'll say goodbye now.
