TEN TRUE FACTS AND A SECRET.

01..I'm not gay. Really. Go ask your mom. Sorry. Not funny.

02..I dwell on things. I analyze small conversations and try to get meaning out of everything. It's pathetic, but I can't help obsessing.

03..I tend to make things up as I go along. This is kind of a really big problem. Especially with my over analytical mind. People say things they never said, I reinvent so much.

04..Even though I love playing flute so much, I've wanted to learn just about every other instrument my whole life. My parents say I have the "grass is always greener" complex, but really it's just that I want to be THAT musically talented. So far I can almost play some percussion instruments and the piano.

05..I am so protective of my friends, especially my close ones. They are the best thing to happen to me, there's no way I'll let anything happen to them.

06..On the matter of friends, I don't know how I make them. I'm unbearably shy and confrontations scare the hell out of me. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in a plastic bubble or anything, it's just... I don't do spontaneous.

07..Okay, so this is probably the worse thing about me considering my career choice, but I hate taking chances. I have to be pushed to hard to go the next step. Thank God for my support team, a.k.a my family. I wouldn't be here today.

08..I don't date a lot. In truth it's probably because of my standoffish ways, but I like to say it's because I don't like the nonsense of small talk and seeing someone over and over again unless I'm actually going to spend the rest of my life with that person. If you think about it, it is kind of pointless. Ha! Point for me.

09..I can't not help someone. It might not be direct assistance, but if I see someone struggling, I feel morally obligated to make things better for them. I swear my pockets will be empty forever with how many people I lend money too. Fine, so I'm a door mat.

10..I think the biggest perk to being a musician is the traveling involved. You get to go EVERYWHERE just to play a few notes. It's amazing. I can't see why anyone wouldn't want that. All the experiences you could get from it.... astounding.

11..I'll admit it now. I'm a wishful thinker. In all honesty, I probably won't be experiencing much with my semi-reclusive ways. But hey, a boy can dream, can't he?

12..I went through an odd rebellious phase when I was 15 because I was sick of being made fun of for my instrumental choice. I tried to pierce my lip in three places to I couldn't play anymore. Yeah. Got over that fast.

Topsy Kret..I really enjoy those intimate talks with friends, like love and crushes and stuff. It's very insightful sometimes and you really get to know the person. I almost wish I was an alcoholic so I could sit through the AA meetings and hear the sob stories. So maybe I cry sometimes. Big deal, right? Just don't say that to anyone.
