[Clara] I haven't thought much about mates from when we were in school, but I ran into Maddox Dodderidge today! And we actually had a really nice conversation! It's so strange to think that we've been out of school for so long now! He says hello, by the by!

Would you like to set up a play date for Marcus and Marietta this Saturday? I know they already see so much of each other during the week, but we hardly ever have the chance to be around each other![/Clara]

Things seem like they're much more calm around the center. Hopefully we'll be back in Hogsmeade by week's end! And if not, certainly by Monday. Thank you again for all of your patience regarding the matter.

Marietta has a new found obsession with broomsticks. This probably won't be any good for me, will it?

[Caterpillar Parents] For the next few days, until everything in Hogsmeade dies down, please bring your children to building 115 in Diagon Alley. I've spent a bit of my own money in order to rent this space to ensure the safety of your children as it is of the utmost important to myself and to my colleagues. No damage has been done to the actual childcare facility and I expect that at the start of next week, the village will have calmed down to a normal level.

We are doing everything we can in terms of aid to help with cleaning up the area and hope that you will continue to extend the privilege of caring for your children despite these recent events. [/Caterpillar Parents]

I have the largest headache known to man right now. I hate leviosa parents so much right now--do you really think I'm going to starve your child even though you could take so much legal action against that that it would be stupid for me to do so--

Clara, do you want to get together tomorrow for a play date? Marcus and Marietta obviously need more time around each other than they've recently had.

The babies are so cute. They really are my favorite class to be in. They're starting to babble and learn words and walk. Marietta threw her ball across the room and then started to cry when she realized she couldn't get to it afterwards, and then Liam wobbled over to it and brought it back to her. Clara, I think Marcus has competition...

[Clara] I think the Ministry wants me to come back and work. They've had a huge influx of work in the floo department and they're so bogged down. I think--I think there might've been a raise offered, too. I don't know. I don't know if I should take it because I'm so happy at the center, but Marissa's doing a wonderful job taking charge with things and the extra income could help.

What would you do? [/Clara]

I feel like things are finally coming together. And I know that the clipping from the prophet said to contact me at the Clubhouse, but. If you need a job or someone to watch your children, you're more than welcome to leave a note about it here!

I..it's official. I'm once again Joceline Shimpling. It feels so strange, writing that out again. Got about 30 galleons for the ring--apparently it was goblin-made, so really fancy...or whatever

CLARA IT'S LIKE BEING IN SCHOOL AGAIN. EXCEPT I HAVE A DAUGHTER WHO'S NEARLY ONE. She needs to stop growing up on me.

[Clara] He...I.

I didn't know. Ohhhh, God...Clara.

His mum owled. And...I think she said it was my fault he resorted to--to being what he was and. They're soooo angry, his parents. What if they try to pin it on me and--and then they take Mari

Can we come over? Or--or can you come over here or. Or something because I can't just sit here and she's crying and I am crying and. [/Clara]

My heart goes out to the Jugson family and anyone else who may have lost a friend because of my wretch of an ex-husband the events that occurred. Anyone who would stoop so low as to murder an entire family over--well, anything, deserves the punishment. And though it won't heal the wounds completely, I hope it--it helps in the-----

We took a trip to Cornwall yesterday and had our first swimming trip. I don't think Marietta much liked playing in the water, but the sand was quite enjoyable! She had loads of fun digging and piling and throwing and eating sand. The last was quite discouraged but she did it anyways. Gran and Granddad insisted that it would not hurt her in the least and had quite the time playing with her. No mention at all of Marcus, I think they're tottering between joy and anger over everything that happened but, can't be sure really.

Marietta has informed me that she would like a play date with her favorite cousin in the world. I use the term cousin quite loosely, since her Auntie Clara isn't really her auntie, but is still considered as such.

I strongly support her need for a play date, as her mummy is in need of time with one of her closest friends.

Is there anything more mundane than going through page after page of theoretical floo network scenarios and deciding the proper course of action should x and y result? After the past few days, I'd say you'd be pressed to find something to trump that.

4/6/08 04:38 pm

[Tristan] I discussed this thoroughly with Marietta, and she agrees that our flat is much too quiet. And, between bites of peaches, she told me that having someone over for dinner would be a good idea. We've been setting up the flat all week and I think that it's pretty well finished at this point. [/Tristan]

This past week has flown by, but it's been very, very good.

Clara, I found a shoe box hidden in the very back of a cupboard today. I haven't looked in it, but I'm assuming it's something you'll want.

3/31/08 09:41 pm

[Clara] You know that I adore living with you but I think it's time for Marietta and I to find our own flat? I've already looked into restraining wards so that unwanted visitors can't get in and they're fairly simple. And...I was wondering if you'd like to help me look for my first official flat? [/Clara]

I'm in need of a sitter. I don't work long hours, but I'll pay decently for someone to watch my daughter while I'm out of the house. If anyone happens to be interested, please leave a note here or send me an owl for more details.

3/16/08 10:44 pm

Well, it's official. Meaning I sent him the papers and he's sent them in.

Clara, do you know where I can go to sell this ring for cash? Because I'm going to need a lot if I'm going to afford a sitter and a flat. Bloody ring, getting me in trouble...

3/13/08 01:19 pm

I haven't had a sleepover since I was younger. Marietta is excited to say the least. At least it makes it sound better than everything actually is

How am I going to get all of my clothes, and all of Marietta's things and

[Tristan]
Do you know of any good flats that are up for rent? Preferably ones that don't cost an arm and a leg?
[/Tristan]

[Clara] I can't believe that

You were right

I should have listened to

Haaa! Marcus has been scowling since Saturday. I'm so pleased about it And Marietta was so adorable in her Tornadoes onesie. The muggle inspired shoes really made the outfit and really bugged the bejebus out of Marcus. I wish I had a photo to paste in, but alas.

She's been babbling non-stop and is currently stuck like a record on 'ma'. So, I'm hearing my name over and over and over from her. Clara, I think she's itching for a visit from her favorite auntie, too!

3/4/08 07:16 pm

I do believe the Tornadoes are going to blow through the Falcons on Saturday. Completely bring them down and leave them in shambles. And I'm not just saying this because my husband is a Falcons fan. Sumpter's got umph behind his beater's bat, after all. And don't even get me started on Birch and Cleaver! But the big question should probably be...who has the best line up to make it to the finals? Tornadoes, Catapults...Magpies? Or, the stretch, Falcons??? Really, it could go any way.

Sports can be so unpredictable. Titles are based off of one measly game...almost seems unfair. And someone has to lose. I don't find it quite fair. Well, rather it's not a job I would take much pleasure in holding. You either do a fantastic job, or you fail. There's no in between when you get to the bottom line of it all. I like being in between...there's no pressure to be absolutely perfect when you work with the Floo system.

2/13/08 12:41 am

So...verdict, Tristan? Did you end up stuck with a little old lady, or were you a bit better off?

I meant to stop by and watch the festivities, but I had a lot to take care of...Marietta's infection is still bugging her a bit and housework piling up on me.

I'm sure the young, Quidditch hungry girls will appreciate your assistance and will build statues in your honor.

2/2/08 09:49 pm

Marietta's sick. Very frustrating, but she should be fine. Just lots of fussing and such. The healers say it's an ear infection.

[Clara (Tristan can read it, too...)] I ran out to get some medications for her and left her with Marcus because I figured that you know, he has to be able to take care of her because I'm going to be going back to work soon so he can't rely on me constantly, right?

Anyways, I came home maybe half an hour later and he's passed out and Marietta is crying her little lungs out. I suppose he had a long day at work or something, falling asleep like that. We just got finished with a spat. I thought I could trust him, though. [/Clara slash Tristan]
