but you know she's only waiting for the next best thing Friends: Clara Belby, Cordie Nott, Tristan Bardera Enemies: Significant Other: ~~Marcus Edgecombe~~ Personality and History: Joceline is a very trusting, needy individual. She loved being domestic and taking care of her daughter and her house while she was with Marcus. She wants the best for her daughter and will do anything it takes to get that, even if it means letting someone else take watch of her while she's earning an income. Joceline had a very happy, healthy childhood without much event. When she was sorted into Hufflepuff, her parents weren't extremely pleased, but they made do with it (it had been a long family line of Gryffindors, so her "oddity" was a bit unexpected). And, as with many pureblooded families, after finishing school Joceline was placed in an arranged marriage to Marcus Edgecombe. It took a few months, but the façade that Marcus put up did not last long; he was a strong drinker and became mean after a few shots. She's taken much of this without complaint, simply because she didn't want to cause an uproar with her family but after an overreaction that resulted in him beating her, Joceline left and took their daughter with her. Months later, it came out that Marcus Edgecombe was a death eater (though the actuality was that it was all a set up, a rouse if you will) and had killed. The news was terribly shocking to Joceline, especially the fact that she had willingly left her child in his care so many times. The inheritance money did come in handy, however, as it created the means for Joceline to acquire some property in the Hogsmeade area. She is now the owner and director of the Caterpillar Clubhouse, a preschool for wizarding children. And now that things have slowly settled down in the wizarding world, it seems like business has picked up. Things are slowly looking up for Miss Joceline Shimpling, something that she's deserved for some time now. Likes:crups, the color blue, cider, peaches, Celestina Warbeck, the smell of vanilla, and reading. Dislikes:snakes, the color orange, egg nog, ham, classical music, the smell of freshly cut grass, and having nothing to do. Alignment: Neutral
spent her whole life being graded on the sanctity of patience Hufflepuff Cancer: Hufflepuff Cancers are oriented first and foremost to the home and to all things domestic. The ultimate homebodies of the magical world, they are at their happiest when they are puttering in the kitchen, stirring up food in magical cauldrons or whipping up soothing, healing potions. These wizards desperately need to be needed. If cut off from family, a circle of close friends, or a flock of wounded birds to tend, they will get anxious and depressed, unless their energies are directed somehow to a cause or a person which finds them good use. They are caring and compassionate, and are excellent listeners.
