I know you're going to be completely upset and angry at me, but...I moved back in with Marcus. And, before you say
anything about how stupid this seems...he's changed. He sent me an owl and he told me that he'd overreacted and that not having me and Marietta in his life was the worst thing that had ever happened. And we met for tea this afternoon and he was just so
sincere. I think he turned a corner, Clara. He's not...bad...anymore. Really.
