- on january 28, 1991, a chubby little baby girl was brought into the world to new parents annie and philip kennedy. the kennedys were much older than other new parents at 37 and 55 but the pair had been married for fifteen years before deciding it was time to try for a child. for the majority of their marriage, the pair felt it was much more probable to focus on their careers rather than bringing a new life into the world. at the time of kaela's birth, her father was an english professor at the university of utah and her mother was an orthodontist. and when they had both aspired to be who they wanted to be professionally, the attempts at trying for a baby began. but like a lot of couples, they had struggled for a few years before finally becoming pregnant. so, when kaela took her first breath, it was almost certain that her parents would spoil her and treat her nothing short of a princess.

- as their daughter grew up, the kennedys wanted to make sure that she was as cultured as she could possibly become. at the age of 4 they started her with piano lessons, ballet lessons, and horseback riding. mr. kennedy was also fluent in german and was eager to teach young kaela the language he had learned as a child as well. at first, kaela didn't mind at all. but all of the activities didn't last much longer than a year, once kaela entered middle school. she was then realizing she hadn't being overloaded with activities every day after school when at that point, kaela would much rather have spent time with her friends doing the normal tween stuff.

- the first day of sixth grade was a bit intimidating for the blonde. her elementary years were spent in a private school setting so entering a public school with a lot more kids was a scary thing for an eleven year old. however, that very day in gym class was the day that would change kaela's life forever. she learned she would be partnered with nina jacobson for the rest of the year. the two girls quickly bonded over their love for justin timberlake and because of that became best pals. it didn't hurt that they were in a few other classes together as well. it wasn't long before the girls became inseperable and could always be found right beside one another, walking to classes, eating at the lunchtable, even creating meeting times in the bathrooms to gossip when they were in different classes.

- ninth grade skyrocketed kaela into a whole new level of popularity when the most popular junior in school had asked her to homecoming. now not only did her own class know her name but the upperclassmen did as well. dylan and kaela had a solid relationship until dylan had packed up to start college at ucla. the distance caused the two lovebirds to slowly but surely fall apart. there wasn't a week that way by of her junior year that kaela was pissed off at dylan because he had forgotten to call or had remembered to call but was completely plastered. most of her junior year, kaela was a miserable bitch and spent a lot of her days picking on any easy target she could come across. to make matters worse, gg had been sent pictures of dylan hooking up with a girl at ucla from an anonymous tipster. of course gg posted them and kaela swore up and down that they were photoshopped. instead of breaking up with her boyfriend, she decided to spread rumors around that gwendolyn was gossip girl because kaela had always thought that the girl had a secret vendetta against her, anyway, even if they were close friends up until that point. soon after the pictures were posted, the relationship didn't last too much longer. it all ended when dylan came home from spring break, informing kaela that he had gotten a girl at school pregnant. that was the final straw for kaela and she ended everything right there.

- despite the bitchiness and constant picking on people, kaela has only ever gotten into one fist fight in her life. this occured on the last day of school before the summer with gwen. some would say that it was an epic catfight. but admist the ripped clothes, bruises and blood the two girls soon broke out into laughter over the whole thing and somehow walked away from the whole thing as friends again. who knows, girls can just be weird like that.

- per her parent's request, kaela is very active in school activities. she's a member of nhs, the president of the fashionistas club, historian for the class of 2009 and a morning announcer. she knows a sport would make her look even more rounded out on college applications but she never really saw the appeal of joining a team sport. her favorite activity though is the morning announcements with her bff nina. they even try to make it into their own show by calling it the kk and ninja show. they have even tried to bribe the tech crew to play songs every morning so the two could dance to them and have their own theme song but it just results in the techies telling them to start their own youtube show if they want to do that. so the girls just end up dancing to imaginary songs even if they look like complete fools most of the time.

- the kennedys reside in an older house and even if it has been completely restored to look much more modern, kaela still gets the creeps about it from time to time. she even swears up and down that it's haunted, but she hasn't had any actual encounters with spirits aside from the feeling she gets of eyes being on her while she's in the shower or trying to fall asleep. to prove that there are ghosts, she has made attempts at using a ouija board but she has never made any progress because she always gets creeped out and ends up running out of her bedroom in mid-use.

- growing up the youngest in her family by a mile, all of her cousins are now in their late twenties, early thirties and some older, kaela has always known the proper way to act around adults and is usually a hit amongst parents and teachers. this is probably why she also has very few friends and comes off as quite snobby and bitchy. most of the time, she really doesn't understand why her peers act the way they do, though kaela has gotten herself into many situations she didn't understand herself and is known to act immature from time to time. but she still is only a seventeen year old girl and it is bound to happen. however, this awareness of older generations helped kaela develop a way to smooth talk her teachers if she ever happens to forget to do an assignment or need a retake for a major test she bombed in math or science. it usually just takes a five minute conversation and her teachers are giving her all of the extensions or retakes she could ever possibly dream of.

- kaela is as spoiled as much as her parents are capable of spoiling her. her parents just recently bought her a brand new acura mdx to replace the scion tc that she had totaled over the summer. which the accident was totally her fault even if she points the other person to blame for it. but really, running a red light because you were too busy texting on a blackberry would of course put you at fault. kaela was never a good driver at all and it was a miracle that she had gotten her license after she had failed the driving test three times. she is constantly running stop signs and pulling illegal u-turns all the while trying to text and reapply her makeup.

- rebounding from dylan, she had spent a lot of her summer at parties, getting drunking and hooking up with a few different guys though it never went past making out. it never even went past making out with dylan. kaela's negligence to put out was probably a lot of the reason as to why dylan cheated on her so much when he went away to college. but kaela doesn't feel any ounce of regret for never giving him her virginity because she knows that if she would have, she would have just ended up feeling miserable over it. the timing and situations were just never right with the two. she isn't one that believes losing it should be on a bed covered in rose petals with candles and music because the thought of all of that would make her gag. but she knew that losing it in the back of a car or on a basement floor with parents in the next room would just not be right for her either. she just knows that she would much rather experience her first time in a quiet, private place where she can be comfortable and not have to worry about parents or random party goers barging in.

- underneath the exterior, kaela does have a quirky personality though she can hide it well. she is obsessed with both south park and family guy along with all kinds of stupid kiddie shows that someone her age shouldn't be watching. she has a secret love for the jobros, miley cyrus and disney world. she will laugh at just about anything and really isn't afraid to make a complete fool of herself, as long as it's behind closed doors, of course.
