Oh, he knows she's a sweetheart - he toned it down pretty quickly. Harpers and a little harmless flirting just go together. Or something.

"It seems I'll be working with these people. So I'll do my best to keep everything within reasonable levels of subtlety. Scout's honor." he replies, trying, fumbling a little, but mostly kind of pulling off one of those cub scoutish gestures of honor he'd seen here and there.
