Leonis Praecipua Doge
1) It was certain that with his parents, Leonis was a Ravenclaw before he was even born. The Hat didn't lower enough to touch his head during his sorting.
2) Yes, he does go by his
full first name which is correctly pronounced Lee-ON-ees but he won't correct you if you fudge it. He'll answer to Lee, Leo, Leon, Nis, etc but he prefers the full name. Just like his dad.
3) His first year of Hogwarts was the year of the TriWizard Tournament - which is when he first fell in love with dragons.
4) Surprisingly, Leonis is not nearly as socially inept as his father was in school. Though he still has his odd duck moments - such as, his tendency to keep at least one dragon claw on his person. He says it's to keep him from biting his thumb nails.
5) Following the attack on Hogwarts and Dumbledore's death, Leonis was withdrawn from the school and sent with his siblings to live with relatives in France while his parents remained in England to fight throughout Voldemort's second rise and fall.
