We weren't sure of a good date, then winter snuck up on us. Winter weddings aren't warm enough to display the fire of our love. We need rich, autumn colors. Also, fuck Thanksgiving. The day before is a perfect day, plenty of people in clubs trying to forget how much they dislike family time.
