Now that gets across. At first they seem shy about Josh's healing powers, but as realization dawns that he means them no harm, the less shy the people become. Soon they are all crowded around him, their faces turned up towards the tall hero. When he gestures back towards the fork, a little girl reaches out and takes his hand, tugging at Josh, seeming to want him to lead the way. They are all speaking, but only bits and pieces make it through - though they seem quite happy to follow him.
