It's too bad Malicor has too much on his hands. He brings a force field up to protect himself, barely getting it up in time before Josh blasts him with a hard punch. The punch sends Malicor skittering back, and it's all he can do to catch his breath. While he knows how to deal with Henry, this angry should-be-dead person is a totally different thing than what he expects or even knows how to deal with off the cuff like this.
Meanwhile, Malicor's rings seem to be reacting to Josh in unexpected ways. The Violet ring now seems to be threatening to get away from him, and Malicor has to clench his hand in a fist to keep it on his finger. With his other beringed hand, he points it at Josh, letting loose a few orange and yellow blasts, hoping to drive the enraged man back.
