The description of Avalon makes many of the Naltorians nervous. Few on the planet didn't know about their half-breed Blue Lantern.. after all for some of them, it was his actions that freed then from being owned by another. To be honest, it's perhaps the implication that he was unwell.
As the boys reunite, the aliens hang back, some fretting, others looking grim. To Josh, the woman helping him says softly "We know of him, yes but.. we have not seen him. Was he supposed to be here, held by Malicor?"
Her eyes turn pointedly to the battered and bloodstained pile of feathers nearby, and she swallows some before then saying "If we had seen him, it might haven given us Hope that all would be well.. until you came, we had no such hope. Could.. could he be...?"
