Henry takes the ring, not letting go of Josh, and slips it onto his new finger, flexing it and examining the new finger with a sense of awe. As the ring slides on, he closes his eyes a moment.
He opens his eyes, and looks at the Naltorians. "We'll find Avalon. This I promise." He focuses, and summons his power-battery to himself, then holds his ring to it. "I just need to recharge first, and then we'll get him."
His ring begins to glow, as he begins to recite the words,
"In brightest day... in blackest night...
No evil shall escape my sight!"
The image of Malicor runs through his mind, and he considers what Avalon faced at his hands.
"Let those who worship evil's might...
beware my power...
Green Lantern's Light!"
As the oath is finished, the ring recharged, he turns to the Naltorian woman speaking to them. "We'll find him," he says, his voice brooking no argument. "All will be well."
