And we actually cast our ballots for....a REPUBLICAN for a state office.

Dems, shoot me now. ;)

No, seriously, we thought really hard about it. He's the better choice, truly. I don't vote party, I vote people. Just that usually the people I vote tend to be in my party. :D

Still, that was...hard. lol

At any rate, Basic Rights Oregon sent out THEIR voter's guide, and a conservative group of several smaller groups sent out THEIR guide, plus we had the League of Women Voters' guide, and the Stand for Children guide, and took them ALL into consideration. Roy and I voted the same on most things, except Sec of State. He went with the independent; I went with the Dem, and all three were really good, but her stand on Equality tipped her over. She's really fought for that.

SO, we'll drop the ballots off on our way to a party tonight.
