Overwhelmed with the Ordinary

November 28th, 2008

Black Friday @ 06:40 pm

Current Mood: busy
Current Music: Valley Girl - Zappa (it's 1982 on kink.fm!)

We didn't go shopping until nearly 11am, and were primarily after things we needed for ourselves, lol.

Courtesy Kohl's and Macy's crazy sales, we all now have brand new pillows. And Roy and I have new sheets - 600 thread count Egyptian Cotton Damask Stripe. For CHEAP. Holy cow.

Kids have their traditional pajamas to open Christmas Eve.

We're considering digital photo frames for the three sets of grandparents. Roy is picky, though.

Got soap making kit and tins for sugar scrub mix. Might try those out tomorrow.

Vid finished. It awaits its turn in the advent calendar.

Work is BLESSEDLY slow tonight.

Roy and I were out shopping alone while the kids cleaned the living room. Well, it's much better. But it amazes me how the short people don't see the stuff creeping under the computer armoire...but clean it up they need to do before the Christmas box comes out.

While we were out shopping and all, we had lunch at Romano's Macaroni Grill. Oh, yum. I couldn't finish it, so dinner will be the leftovers. Penne Rustica. Yum.

While we didn't get the kids much Christmas wise, we've made some decisions and a lot of considerations. It's the Santa gifts that get us every year, but we've got Katie sorted on that. Now to worry about the other two...
