How do you tell someone that they have an awesome song but that the vid execution isn't so grand? It is in places...but...in places....

*sigh*

Or I just not say anything at all - I just worry that my silence comes across wrongly, too.

*sigh*

I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow isn't looking good either.

In the end, I sent positive words and offered more input if she wanted it.

Seen on a car today: I like poetry, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick.

This week I had Katie plan dinner for M-F. She chose the main and the sides. Looked to see what we had. Made a little shopping list. It seems a little silly, but just that ONE element of not having to make THAT decision has lifted a bit of weight off my shoulders. I just look at the menu she planned and I cook it. That's it. It's been nice, and I told her so.

I did some grocery shopping today and let her know of items I picked up that I knew would go with things we already have, so she can plan them in to next week's meals.

Ah, I love having kids old enough to handle this stuff!

Cats are checked-up and vaccinated. Have to catch poop. Yeah. Right. Ok. It's been prepaid for so I better try to catch them. And the poop can't be more than 12 hours old. Ok. Yeah. I have all the time in the world to watch when they shit in a litterbox in a room far away from my corner here.

They're all overweight - hey, it's my house, lol. So they get to go on kitty diets starting tomorrow. Poor things. ;-) They'll manage.

I'm off to snuggle hubby for a bit.
