Poor Ea. I keep dinking with my pages and sending her new ones from the site. Heh.

Work was quiet today, and job#2 provided for a long meeting where we learned some new background software. And then we found the bugs that would keep us from actually using it. :) That's what training is for! They warned us it would be buggy yet and they were right.

Having issues with Karl not wanting to do his required fifteen minutes of reading. We're a Title One school so already they have two solid hours of reading every day. He is not a "reader". He's a writer. Anyone else prefer to write over read? But I counseled him that reading is the best way to be a better writer, and that while I couldn't take away the reading requirement, we could certainly look for topics that would interest him enough for fifteen minutes. It took an hour, but he did finally acquiesce to a Young Indiana Jones book he had in his room and read for...twelve minutes. I let the missing minutes slide for today. He does the rest of his homework wthout prompting (although he still manages to have late and/or missing assignments at school. Rar.)

Jayne is working on her speech and that's the last of the homework for the day. Job #1 just dropped another sponsored group in my email box so I'm considering tackling it now or waiting until tomorrow. They know I'm a part-timer with kids at home, so late afternoon emails are not always going to be immediately responded to.

Tuesday. How's yours? I think I'm going to go read. I have three books in process; I really should finish one.
