1. Hutch may have the college brains, but Starskycould do his own damned taxes. It wasn’t like he owned anything but a car.

<lj-cut text="Bits and pieces. Is it supposed to be one sentence per WIP? Too bad, so sad.">

2. The voices faded away and a sense of love surrounded him, turned him back from the light with a brief touch and a whisper, then gone. The light became important again.

3. . It’s rare to see one without the other andthere’s been more than one rumor floating around the ladies’ locker room thatthey’re living in one another’s pocket, if you get my drift.

4. It’s in the shower that the best words come tohim, the ones that paint the picture he can see in his mind. He takes no issuewith walking naked across his apartment, tossing droplets on the sofa as hepasses it and leaving wet footprints on the carpet in front of the piano wherehe damply scribbles out his inspiration with a broken pencil on a fresh sheetof paper.

He turned wordlessly to Starsky, reaching, and together they touched in pleasure once more, a quiet echo of the night's louder cries, until the silver break of morning brightened to the insistent gold of day.

6. Oh, the years. The years they’d wasted, dancingaround each other, hiding behind work, marriage, and societal attitudes. It’dtaken his own near-death to bring them together.
