Why can't little girl's dance costumes actually FIT? Every year I have to wield the Safety Pins of Security to make the stay on. This year I need to actually sew in an elastic strap to the back of Jayne's pants so they don't fall down, attach the belt to the top of the pants, secure the pants' length so that the pink cuffs fall just below the knee, sew the sequined shoulder straps to the leotard at the right tension to stay up, and I think while I'm at it, I'll attach the little half-shirt right to the leotard in the right places as well.

Hand sewing that won't be pretty, but it's not like anyone in the audience will be able to tell.

Plus, she has a little sequined visor cap and little wristlets. I have to keep track of all these things; hence, the sewing of some of them together!

Terri, costumes...they suck, man.
