You know those days...you get up and think, "today is going to be any old normal day."
And then you lock your keys in your car.
*head*desk*
Yeah. I had to go run a few quick errands - shouldn't have taken me more than an hour. I told MissFancyPants I'd be back soon.
Nearly three hours later....
I had gone to Barnes & Noble to get my son a particular StarWars book for his birthday. (I'd found it at Borders before, where hegot the first one, but B&N is closer to the house.) They don't haveit. They don't even have it in their system. So I figure, I'll go thefive more miles and hit up Borders for it.
KEYS. ARE. IN. THE. CAR.
IN. MY. PURSE.
Because I thought I'd run in and out, I just grabbed my wallet frommy purse and headed in, after having dropped the keys in there.
ARGH!
Took hubby 45 minutes to ride the train to the park-n-ride where his car was, and then drive to me.
But we had lunch together, which was nice, because we hardly ever get to do that.
Still. Grar.
I hate doing dumb things like that. Don't you?
