Current Mood: Bitch Slapped

Some days, I really know how to put my foot in my mouth.

It's been a long week. And I still have Friday to get through. Seems like several on my flist thought yesterday was Thursday. No, it was Wednesday, and I felt every bit of it. And Tuesday. And Monday. And today...

Fair is done, girls danced, moms lamented that we forgot YET AGAIN to bring swiffers to dust off the damned stage before our precious ones roll around on it, wearing costumes that DON'T go in washing machines, and ballet slippers that get the tights all dirty when they do that move where they put their right foot onto their left calf. *sigh*

I had my research appt downtown so after dance was done, we did a quick round of the photography exhibit, bought a rainbow-bead-and-silver-bead bracelet (I LOVE IT), and then I headed out. GOt my appt. done, the doctor there advised me to start getting the kids to help more because I'm WEARING OUT. Yah think?

Back to the fair, long enough to buy a pretty black fused/infused glass necklace (I LOVE IT) with a rainbow sparkle pattern inside it. Then off to take Aunt Jill home and allow Karl to change into his baseball uniform.

Get them to the ball field, realize I was going to be SITTING there for the better part of three hours or more, and begged off for a bit. Came home, booted the puters, dealt with a few work things and personal things, then went back up to the field.

Game was good; Karl caught a throw from the pitcher at first and got the runner to first out. Good playing!

I'm tired. Just tired. I have my doctor's appt about my shoulder tomorrow. My mid-year review. Plans for the Post Office. Katie's friend coming over to swim. Then picking Roy up after work and going to Sears to look at refrigerators and Circuit City to look at another external LightScribe dvd/cd drive as mine is starting to make noises. :)

I think I'm going to crawl into bed and sleep for week tonight. Heh.
