Remember how I RARed about Jayne having the teacher I *didn't* want her to have? It was a mistake!

The front office accidentally glued the class lists to the WRONG names - all of the ones listed under Mrs. M. belong to Mrs. S, and vice versa.

Poor Mrs. E! I called to verfiy that we did have it all right in the end and she confessed. Poor woman, lol!

So, Jayne has the teacher I wanted her to have. *whew*

Katie comes home later yet. I'm VERY anxious to hear from her how her first day went. It was a total orientation day for the 7th graders, no 8th graders until tomorrow. *bounces*

Middle school first day was grand. She was late for homeroom because she got her lunch late (long and slow lines until things shake out) but she got lunch. Her locker opened on her first try. Her best friend has the locker above her. She shares two classes with her. Her gym clothes are ready to go.

Tomorrow is the real test - THE EIGHTH GRADERS arrive!
