But I'm gathering that, as usual, it's very good. I'm in a weird place right now, and not sure I can handle reading it now - I don't have a problem with deathfic, per se, but right now...things are too close. I need to call down to CC and check in on my grandparents.
In other news, my mother is thinking of moving down to CC, where my grandparents live. Where she grew up, really. Met my father. My father's cousin is one of her best friends.
This doesn't bother me, really. I mean, in my life, grandparents live in CC, so my kids would know that, too. LOL
but it's nothing that's going to happen immediately - I did tease her with, "you're about to retire and I was going to put you to work bussing my children everywhere, like baseball!" She laughed but said she had considered that as one of the things that would get missed - seeing Karl's baseball games, and girls' dancing, etc.
Still - shipping the kids to CC for a week or two in the summer....ahh, good times. *G*
In yet other news, I went back to my WW meetings today. My last weigh in was in May. Over the ENTIRE summer, which included trips to Vegas, CC and Maryland/Virginia, I gained a grand total of...
....
....
Wait for it....

....
1.4 lbs.
That's it.

I have so much to do, fannishwise. Stories sitting in WIP folder. Vid list the length of my arm. Yanno, tonight, I think I'll focus on my site that Ea and
sue_chose_this have been working on so hard for me - I need to recode my stuff and update the vid list and notes. Yeah. There's my plan.Right after I fold three baskets of laundry....
Oh, and Katie earned herself a second round of grounding. She'll learn, she'll learn - or she's going to learn what a convent is...
